Six-woman tag match booked for WWE SummerSlam
Raw’s WWE Women’s Championship encounter between Sasha Banks and Charlotte won’t be the only women’s division match at SummerSlam.
It was announced on Tuesday night that SmackDown’s women will be in action as well, with Becky Lynch, Naomi, and Carmella taking on Natalya, Alexa Bliss, and Eva Marie.
Eva Marie once again failed to wrestle on Tuesday’s SmackDown with the storyline reason being that she was stuck in traffic, and it remains to be seen whether she will compete inside of the ring as scheduled for the first time since the WWE Draft at SummerSlam.
The match will see the pay-per-view debuts of Carmella and Bliss, who were both recently called up from NXT when they were selected in the draft.
It wasn’t specified whether the match would appear on the SummerSlam main card or kickoff show.

- WWE Champion Dean Ambrose vs. Dolph Ziggler in a championship match

- WWE Women’s Champion Sasha Banks vs. Charlotte in a championship match
- United States Champion Rusev vs. Roman Reigns in a championship match
- Intercontinental Champion The Miz vs. Apollo Crews in a championship match
- WWE Tag Team Champions The New Day (Xavier Woods & Kofi Kingston) vs. The Club (Karl Anderson & Luke Gallows) in a championship match
- Enzo Amore & Big Cass vs. Chris Jericho & Kevin Owens
- Cesaro vs. Sheamus in the first match of a best-of-seven series
- Becky Lynch, Naomi, & Carmella vs. Natalya, Alexa Bliss, & Eva Marie
