Seth Rollins vs. Samoa Joe set for WWE Payback

Seth Rollins will be taking on Samoa Joe at WWE’s first post-WrestleMania 33 pay-per-view.
The match was made apparent in an angle where Joe attempted to attack Rollins last week, but WWE officially announced that it was set for Payback in a video before Raw went on the air on Monday night.
Joe made his main roster debut on the January 30th episode of Raw, where he ambushed Rollins on behalf of Triple H. Rollins suffered a legitimate MCL tear during their brawl, but was cleared to return in time to face Triple H at WrestleMania.
Payback will take place on April 30th at the SAP Center in San Jose, California. Though it’s a Raw PPV, the show will have two matches where SmackDown is represented after the Superstar Shakeup. Kevin Owens will defend the United States Championship for the first time since moving to SmackDown as he faces Chris Jericho. And Randy Orton will put his WWE title on the line against Raw’s Bray Wyatt in a House of Horrors match.
Neville vs. Austin Aries for the Cruiserweight Championship and The Hardys vs. Cesaro & Sheamus for the Raw tag titles are also scheduled for Payback.
