Seth Rollins to miss final WWE Raw before Night of Champions

Seth Rollins is going to miss the go-home episode of WWE Raw before Night of Champions. 

Rollins is still on set filming Marvel’s Captain America: New World Order. He missed last week’s show as well due to the movie but appeared in a pre-taped interview segment with Corey Graves. Additional footage from that interview is scheduled to air on the 5/22 episode as well. 

Our own Dave Meltzer addressed Rollins’ status in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. 

Meltzer wrote:

Rollins was off Raw this week and next week, so they did a pretape segment, because he was filming the movie “Captain America: New World Order.” The movie is currently filming in Atlanta for a release next May 

Not much is known about Rollins’ role in the Marvel movie but it is believed his character is part of a snake-themed criminal organization, The Serpent Society. 

Rollins is scheduled to face AJ Styles for the World Heavyweight Championship at Night of Champions from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on May 27.
