Seth Rollins & Becky Lynch missed WWE house show due to tour bus breaking down

Travel issues prevented Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch from appearing at a WWE house show on Monday night.

Rollins and Lynch were supposed to be in Columbus, Ohio for a WWE live event at the Nationwide Arena on Monday. While replying to a fan who said travel problems must have kept them from being at the show, Rollins confirmed that he and Lynch had no way of getting to the event due to their tour bus breaking down.

“It did. And I’m very sorry! We tried, but by the time the bus broke down on the side of the road we had no other recourse,” Rollins wrote.

Rollins also responded to another fan: “Massive apologies my friend. We tried everything to make it in time, but with flight delays and cancellations on top of our bus breaking down, it was impossible.”

A steel cage match between Rollins and Austin Theory was scheduled to headline the Columbus event. Theory instead faced Damian Priest and Johnny Gargano in a triple threat match inside of a cage.

WWE held two house shows on Monday night, which included the SmackDown roster being in New York City for a show at Madison Square Garden. With bad weather across the country, PWInsider reports that travel was a “complete nightmare.” Alexa Bliss and Bobby Lashley also missed the Columbus show.
