Seth Rollins ‘apology’ segment set for WWE Raw

WWE will follow up on Seth Rollins’ town hall meeting with Rollins issuing an “apology” on Monday’s episode of Raw.

Rollins announced the segment via Twitter today: “After a long few days of soul searching, I’ve decided that this coming Monday on #RAW I would like to issue an apology to #TEAMRED and the @WWE Universe. I hope you’ll hear me out.”

The night after Survivor Series, Rollins opened Raw by leading a town hall meeting with the show’s roster. He said they all sucked at the pay-per-view. He called out Randy Orton, Charlotte Flair, and Rey Mysterio specifically and told AOP they weren’t needed on Survivor Series and weren’t needed that night. The segment ended with Kevin Owens giving Rollins a stunner after being insulted by him.

That led to Rollins facing Owens in the main event of Raw. AOP interrupted the match and caused a disqualification by attacking Owens. They went face-to-face with Rollins after but left the ring instead of brawling. After working the match as a babyface, Rollins laid out Owens with two curb stomps to close the show.

Monday’s Raw is taking place at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee.
