Sasha Banks vs. Natalya announced for WWE Raw

A match between Sasha Banks and Natalya is set for tonight’s episode of Raw.

WWE announced via The Wrap that Banks vs. Natalya will take place on tonight’s show. It was also noted that a promo from Banks is scheduled to open the episode, with Banks addressing the audience and her heel turn.

This will be Banks’ first match since WrestleMania 35.

After a four-month absence, Banks returned to WWE television on the August 12 episode of Raw. She laid out both Natalya and Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch.

Banks then attacked Natalya during a backstage segment on Raw last week. Banks told Natalya to go to hell and “tell your daddy I said hi.”

Banks’ storyline also included her being interviewed by Michael Cole on last Monday’s Raw. Banks didn’t provide answers on why she turned heel. Earlier in the show, Lynch cut a promo responding to Banks’ attack from the previous week.

The Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, Louisiana is hosting tonight’s Raw. Ricochet vs. Drew McIntyre and The Miz vs. Baron Corbin in King of the Ring first-round matches are set for the show. SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley will be in action in a non-title match against Nikki Cross.
