Sasha Banks facing Alexa Bliss on WWE Raw season premiere
Rivals are set to face off on next week’s episode of Raw.
WWE has announced Sasha Banks vs. Alexa Bliss for next Monday’s show, which is being billed as the season premiere of Raw. It’s taking place at the Talking Stick Resort Arena in Phoenix, Arizona.
Banks defeated Nikki Cross on Raw tonight, with Bliss in Cross’ corner and Bayley in Banks’ corner. Bayley distracted the referee during the match before being taken out by Bliss. After the match was over, Bliss tried to make a save for Cross but was put in the Banks Statement.
On last week’s Raw, Banks & Bayley defeated Women’s Tag Team Champions Bliss & Cross in a non-title match. There was an angle where Bliss suffered a storyline injury during the match and had to be taken to the back.
Next week’s Raw and SmackDown are the go-home shows for Hell in a Cell. Banks is challenging for Becky Lynch’s Raw Women’s Championship in a Hell in a Cell match at the pay-per-view.
