Sami Zayn returns for Jey Uso WWE Raw celebration

Sami Zayn has returned to WWE programming following a nearly two-month absence.
Zayn emerged on Monday’s WWE Raw after WrestleMania to join new World Heavyweight Champion Jey Uso in celebrating his title victory over Gunther on night one of the two-night show on Saturday in Las Vegas.
Jey entered through the crowd for his in-ring celebration and was joined by Zayn, then brother Jimmy in celebrating defeating Gunther for the World Heavyweight title. Zayn noted that it had been difficult to be on the shelf watching as Jey began his march towards the title, but that no one deserves the accolade more than Jey. Jimmy, Jey, and Zayn celebrated in the ring together as the segment closed.
Zayn was written out of storylines in the build to WrestleMania after losing an unsanctioned match to Kevin Owens at the Elimination Chamber PLE in Toronto on March 1, capping the long-running Zayn vs. Owens feud. Owens has since gone on the shelf himself with a legitimate neck injury that required surgery. Owens is out indefinitely as he recovers.
