Royal Rumble winners Charlotte Flair and Jey Uso announced for WWE SmackDown

The 2025 Royal Rumble winners are set to appear on Friday’s WWE SmackDown, with women’s Rumble winner Charlotte Flair also announced for this week’s NXT.

Both Royal Rumble victors Flair, and Jey Uso appeared on Monday’s Raw to tease giving their decisions as to which champions they will face at WrestleMania 41.

Flair was confronted by Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley to hint at another WrestleMania bout between the two, who previously met at WrestleMania 36 for the NXT Women’s title, and at WrestleMania 39 for the SmackDown Women’s Championship. Flair won the WrestleMania 36 bout, with Ripley coming out on top in the WrestleMania 39 matchup.

Flair did not commit to challenging Ripley, noting that she would be at NXT on Tuesday to confront current NXT Women’s Champion Giulia, and would also be at SmackDown this Friday to size up WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton.

Uso was confronted on Raw by World Heavyweight Champion Gunther, his likely opponent for WrestleMania 41. Gunther attempted to dissuade Uso from challenging him again after Uso failed to capture the title from Gunther at Saturday Night’s Main Event last month. Uso stated that he would be at SmackDown this week to discuss the possibility of challenging Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE title at WrestleMania.
