Rousey & Angle vs. Stephanie & HHH announced for WrestleMania 34

After weeks of speculation, a key match for WrestleMania was officially made tonight on Raw.

Kurt Angle announced that he and Ronda Rousey will team in her first WWE match to take on Triple H and Stephanie McMahon in a mixed tag team bout. This came after a promo where Rousey revealed that she would like to face Stephanie in a match at WrestleMania. Stephanie said that she wouldn’t be able to since she was an executive. Angle revealed, however, that both Stephanie and Triple H have second wrestling contracts that are separate from their corporate contracts, and since he makes the matches, he officially made the match between the four of them for WrestleMania.

After that was announced, Triple H attacked Angle. Stephanie exited the ring, then attacked Rousey from behind. Rousey no sold the attack and laid out Stephanie with a Samoan drop, while Angle locked in the Angle lock on Triple H.

The build for the match started at Elimination Chamber after Angle revealed some interesting comments made by Triple H and Stephanie about Rousey, which he later had to refute the following night on Raw. Triple H blindsided him with a punch as he was exiting the ring, leading to the confrontation tonight.
