Ronda Rousey to reveal WrestleMania decision on WWE SmackDown

Ronda Rousey is headed to SmackDown to announce her WrestleMania decision.

After returning to WWE on Saturday and winning the women’s Royal Rumble match, Rousey appeared during the main event segment of Raw tonight. But she didn’t announce which title she’s going to challenge for at WrestleMania 38. Rousey said she’ll reveal the decision on SmackDown this Friday.

During her promo tonight, Rousey said she’s been debating whose title she wants to take at WrestleMania. Rousey said she has unfinished business with both Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch and SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair.

Rousey mentioned that she could choose Lynch, but Rousey’s attention is a compliment that Lynch doesn’t deserve. Rousey said she could face Charlotte to prove that, even as a contender and not as a champion yet, Lynch is still on Rousey’s undercard. Rousey said that Charlotte, Lynch, and everyone would then know that Rousey is “the baddest big time bitch.”

Lynch then came out to the ring to confront Rousey. Lynch pointed out that she’s the only person who has been able to defeat Rousey in WWE — and Lynch said the biggest match in anyone’s mind is Ronda Rousey vs. Becky Lynch.

Lynch wanted a decision from Rousey, but Rousey took her down with an arm throw. Rousey said Lynch will have her decision this Friday.

When Rousey went to the back, Lita made her way out to the ring. It was announced that Lynch will defend her Raw Women’s Championship against Lita at February’s Elimination Chamber pay-per-view in Saudi Arabia.

Dave Meltzer reported prior to the Royal Rumble that Charlotte vs. Rousey was planned for WrestleMania 38. The two-night event is being held at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas on Saturday, April 2 and Sunday, April 3.
