Ronda Rousey returns to WWE TV on SmackDown

Ronda Rousey returned to WWE TV on Friday’s SmackDown, attacking Natalya.

Natalya, who returned to WWE at the Royal Rumble, came to the ring on Friday’s show and ran down Shayna Baszler, who had taken her out of action after injuring her nose. She told Baszler that she was a copy of Ronda Rousey. Baszler arrived and told Natalya that she had a career before Rousey and didn’t need her. Rousey then came to the ring, with Baszler following suit. Baszler initially stopped Rousey from attacking Natalya, but it was a ruse as both started to attack Natalya.

Shotzi came to the ring to help Natalya, but Rousey and Baszler overpowered the two, Baszler hit Natalya with the same knee that broke her nose. It was later announced that Natalya and Shotzi would face Baszler and Rousey next week on SmackDown.

Rousey was last seen on WWE television losing the SmackDown Women’s Championship to Charlotte Flair on the December 30 edition of SmackDown in an impromptu match.
