Ronda Rousey to make WWE Raw in-ring debut next week

Ronda Rousey is set to have her first match on Raw next week.

Kurt Angle announced a match between Rousey and Alicia Fox for next week’s episode of Raw. It was set up when Alexa Bliss, who has now aligned herself with Fox, interfered in a match between Rousey’s training partner Natalya and Fox. Rousey went after Bliss following the match, caught her and put her in the armbar. Fox broke it up before anything could happen, but Rousey laid her out with a slam.

This would be Rousey’s first match on Raw. She’s wrestled twice on pay-per-view events, the first at WrestleMania where she and Kurt Angle defeated Triple H and Stephanie McMahon. She followed that with a match at Money in the Bank where she defeated Nia Jax by disqualification after Bliss got involved.

The next night on Raw, Rousey destroyed Bliss and powerbombed her through a table. In storyline, she was suspended for her actions. After serving an extra week for breaking the suspension, Rousey was officially cleared to return tonight on Raw.

Additionally, Bobby Roode and Mojo Rawley will face one another on Raw next week as well. The two have exchanged words on and off for the last several weeks.
