Roman Reigns to appear on next week’s WWE SmackDown

Roman Reigns will return to SmackDown next week.

WWE announced during Friday’s show that Reigns will appear on television next week for the first time since Elimination Chamber, where he successfully defended the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against Sami Zayn.

On Friday’s show, Paul Heyman told Jimmy Uso to settle the situation with his brother or Reigns would appear on SmackDown next Friday to handle it himself. Jimmy Uso called out his brother in the main event segment, but Sami Zayn came out instead. He attempted to convince Jimmy to leave the Bloodline. Jey Uso appeared in the crowd, which distracted Zayn long enough for Jimmy to attack. Zayn laid out Jimmy with the helluva kick and went into the crowd, avoiding a confrontation with Solo Sikoa as the show ended.

Natalya & Tegan Nox will take on Ronda Rousey & Shayna Baszler next week after Nox, who was cornering Natalya in a singles match against Baszler, helped Natalya ward off an attack from both women following the match. A match between Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan has also been announced.

Here is the current lineup for next week’s show:

  • Roman Reigns returns
  • Liv Morgan vs. Rhea Ripley
  • Natalya & Tegan Nox vs. Ronda Rousey & Shayna Baszler
