Roman Reigns retains Undisputed title over Sami Zayn at WWE Toronto house show

Roman Reigns has once again defeated Sami Zayn.
WWE held a house show Saturday night from the Coca-Cola Coliseum in Toronto. Less than a week before the show, the main event was changed from Reigns & Solo Sikoa vs. Zayn & Kevin Owens to an Elimination Chamber rematch between Reigns and Zayn with the Undisputed Universal Championship on the line.
The finish of the match saw Reigns hit Zayn with a low blow while the referee was out of position and then deliver a spear for the win.
Our own Dave Meltzer addressed the Toronto house show during Sunday’s edition of Wrestling Observer Radio.
Meltzer said:
They basically did the same match. Roman Reigns did a low blow, hit the spear. Sami got a comeback in the end after the match. So again, it’s the same type of thing, he got to do a speech at the end.
Looks like the house show in Toronto will sell out with Reigns vs. Zayn. WWE super hot right now as far as moving late tickets..

According to @WrestleTix, 7,126 tickets were distributed for the show. At the time Reigns was announced, 5244 tickets had been sold.
Meltzer also addressed the change in the Toronto house show’s main event in Friday’s edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
Meltzer wrote:
The decision was made for the 3/4 show in Toronto to switch the main event from Reigns & Sikoa vs Zayn & Owens to a Reigns vs. Zayn rematch. With where the current storyline is, having Zayn & Owens already teaming up before they get back together makes no sense storyline wise.
WWE also announced they will be returning to Toronto for an episode of SmackDown on Friday, August 18, 2023, from the Scotiabank Arena.
