Roman Reigns confirmed for another WWE SmackDown appearance

Following his return at SummerSlam, Roman Reigns is set to make back-to-back WWE SmackDown appearances.
The Kia Center in Orlando, Florida announced today that Reigns will be in the building for the Friday, August 16 episode of SmackDown. Reigns has already been confirmed for this week’s SummerSlam fallout edition of SmackDown in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
“JUST ANNOUNCED: Roman Reigns returns to Friday Night SmackDown at Kia Center on Aug. 16!,” the arena wrote. “Limited tickets still available, purchase now!”
Reigns had been away from WWE programming for four months before returning at SummerSlam. Now that he’s back, WWE looks to be presenting a Bloodline civil war with a babyface Reigns battling Solo Sikoa.
Sikoa anointed himself as the new Tribal Chief while Reigns was gone, bringing Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa & Jacob Fatu into The Bloodline while betraying Jimmy Uso and Paul Heyman. Reigns laid out Sikoa with a Superman punch and spear during the main event of SummerSlam last Saturday. Cody Rhodes then defeated Sikoa to retain the Undisputed WWE Championship.
These are Reigns’ first SmackDown appearances since he dropped the Undisputed WWE Championship to Rhodes at WrestleMania 40.
