Roman Reigns celebration, Ronda Rousey segment set for next WWE SmackDown

A Roman Reigns celebration, a Ronda Rousey “final judgement” segment, and four matches have been announced for the September 2 WWE SmackDown. 

Roman Reigns will celebrate two years as Universal Champion on the Clash at the Castle go-home edition of SmackDown. Reigns defends the WWE and Universal titles against Drew McIntyre at Clash at the Castle on September 3.

After being arrested on last week’s SmackDown, Ronda Rousey will return to the show for what is billed as a “final judgement.”

Karrion Kross will make his SmackDown in-ring debut against an unnamed opponent. 

Also announced, The New Day’s Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods will take on Erik and Ivar of The Viking Raiders in a Viking Rules match. 

Hit Row’s Top Dolla and Ashante Adonis will face Mace and Mansoor of Maximum Male Models on the show in MMM’s televised debut match as a team. 

Also set for the show, Butch will face Ludwig Kaiser. 

The September 2 SmackDown is being taped Friday, August 26.
