Rollins & Zayn vs. Judgment Day announced for WWE Raw
A tag team match has been made official for Raw’s SummerSlam go-home show.
Seth Rollins will team up with Sami Zayn as they take on Judgment Day’s Damian Priest & Dominik Mysterio on Raw this Monday night. The match comes after Rollins and Zayn were laid out by Judgment Day on Raw last Monday.
Judgment Day wreaked havoc throughout last Monday’s Raw, ending with them beating down Rollins. Zayn tried to make the save but was left laying too.
Zayn’s tag team partner Kevin Owens was also attacked by Judgment Day earlier in the episode. Owens has been wrestling with a legitimately fractured rib. In the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported that Owens & Zayn won’t be defending their Undisputed WWE Tag Team titles at SummerSlam because Owens is getting time off due to his rib.
Judgment Day’s Finn Balor is challenging Rollins for the World Heavyweight Championship at SummerSlam next Saturday (August 5).
Priest holds the men’s Money in the Bank briefcase and could potentially cash it in for a shot at the World Heavyweight title.
Raw is being held at the Toyota Center in Houston on Monday. Here’s what’s been announced for the episode:
