Rollins IC title open challenge, Balor vs. Corbin set for WWE Raw

WWE is hyping that there will be an Intercontinental Championship open challenge on tonight’s episode of Raw.
WWE announced last night that Seth Rollins will be issuing an open challenge for his Intercontinental title on tonight’s show. Rollins tweeted yesterday: “Time to refocus heading towards Ambrose and #TLC. I learn the most by testing myself…so the #ICTitle Open Challenge returns tomorrow night on #Raw. #mondaynightrollins It’s go time.”
Rollins is set to defend his title against Dean Ambrose at WWE’s TLC pay-per-view on December 16. Last week’s Raw had a show-long storyline where Rollins tried to find Ambrose, with it ending with them brawling and Ambrose laying out Rollins with a low blow and hitting Dirty Deeds twice.
Finn Balor vs. Baron Corbin has also been announced for tonight’s Raw. If Braun Strowman (who will be undergoing surgery for bone spurs in his elbow) is able to wrestle at the PPV, he’ll be facing Corbin in a tables, ladders, and chairs match at TLC. The stipulation is that Strowman will get a shot at Brock Lesnar’s Universal Championship at the Royal Rumble if he defeats Corbin. If Corbin wins, he’ll become the permanent general manager of Raw. Corbin will lose his GM power if Strowman wins.
Tonight’s Raw is taking place at the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Bobby Roode & Chad Gable challenging for AOP’s Raw Tag Team titles and Elias vs. Bobby Lashley have also been confirmed for the show.
