Roderick Strong, LA Knight appearing on WWE Main Event

Roderick Strong and LA Knight both appeared on tonight’s Main Event tapings prior to the live Raw broadcast.

Knight defeated Cedric Alexander, while T-Bar defeated Strong. The two also appeared in a dark match prior to last Friday’s SmackDown, where Knight defeated Strong.

Strong has been with the WWE since 2016, competing mainly on the NXT brand. He’s held the Tag Team and North American championships, and was the final WWE Cruiserweight Champion. He lost the Cruiserweight title to Carmelo Hayes at New Year’s Evil on January 4. He most recently lost to WALTER on last week’s episode of NXT.

LA Knight signed with WWE in 2021, and is best known for feuding with Cameron Grimes and Ted DiBiase, at one point holding DiBiase’s Million Dollar title. In recent weeks, he has been involved in a feud with Grayson Waller.

Many NXT stars have made appearances on Main Event since the WWE resumed live touring last summer. Earlier this month, both Pete Dunne and Tommasso Cimpa appeared on Main Event following NXT’s New Year’s Evil event.
