Rob Fee announces new role as WWE Director of Character Development


Rob Fee has a new role with WWE.
The former Marvel writer announced on Tuesday that his title is now WWE Director of Character Development. Fee was first hired by the company as its Director of Longterm Creative in September 2022.
Fee wrote on X:
Some exciting news! Last year I moved to Florida to be able to work w/ talent directly on every aspect of their characters. Today my title is officially WWE Director of Character Development! So honored to work w/ our INCREDIBLE team & the best roster of talent imaginable.

“I’ve been working with talent on their vignettes, promos, kind of the WHO they are. It also helps to have a god tier team making you look good,” he later added.

Fee has written Spider-Man, Daredevil, and The Avengers comics for Marvel. He has worked as a creative consultant for Netflix and served as a producer for The Fresh Prince Reunion, The Ellen Show, and MTV’s Ridiculousness.
According to a report from Fightful, Fee once pitched a movie based on Bray Wyatt’s The Fiend. Fee is also said to have played a pivotal role in the development of the White Rabbit campaign leading up to Wyatt’s return tat Extreme Rules 2022.
R-Truth recently credited Fee with having come up with the “Tom & Nick Mysterio” joke as well.
