Ric Flair set for WWE Raw, McIntyre facing Lashley in tag match

Tonight’s episode of Raw will include an appearance by Ric Flair.

WWE.com wrote about Flair’s appearance ahead of tonight’s show: “Woo! Don’t miss Ric Flair live tonight on Raw! After an unforgettable WWE Backlash, what will ‘The Nature Boy’ have to say after his former protege Randy Orton prevailed over Edge in The Greatest Wrestling Match Ever — just as Flair predicted? Be sure to tune in tonight to see the 16-time World Champion!”

WWE has also announced that Drew McIntyre & R-Truth will team against Bobby Lashley & MVP on Raw tonight. The match comes after McIntyre retained his WWE Championship against Lashley at Backlash.

McIntyre hit the Claymore to get the win at Backlash after Lashley was distracted by Lana — who Lashley had told to stay backstage during his matches — coming out to ringside. After McIntyre gave him a headbutt, Lashley accidentally knocked Lana off the apron and onto MVP.

Randy Orton will kick off tonight’s Raw after defeating Edge at Backlash last night. Asuka will defend her Raw Women’s Championship against Nia Jax in a Backlash rematch, and Dominik Mysterio has accepted Seth Rollins’ invitation to appear on the show.
