Rhea Ripley, Roxanne Perez qualify for WWE Money in the Bank

Two more wrestlers have qualified for the women’s ladder match set for WWE Money in the Bank.

Rhea Ripley and Roxanne Perez became the latest wrestlers to qualify for the Saturday, June 7 event with wins in triple threat qualifying bouts on Monday’s WWE Raw episode.

Ripley was victorious in a three-way over Kairi Sane and Zoey Stark on Monday’s show. The match was paused mid-way when Stark appeared to suffer a serious knee injury and had to be carried out of the arena by medical personnel. The match re-started as a Ripley-Sane singles contest, with Ripley pinning Sane after a Riptide.

Earlier on Raw, the newest official member of the Raw roster Perez won a three-way over Natalya and Becky Lynch to punch her ticket to the June 7 ladder match. Women’s Intercontinental Champion Lyra Valkyria interfered in the match to take out Lynch, with Perez pinning Natalya to advance.

Alexa Bliss became the first star to qualify for the women’s Money in the Bank ladder match on Friday’s SmackDown. Three more wrestlers will fill out the field for the ladder match. The Money in the Bank winner will earn a contract good for a championship match of their choosing good for up to one year.

Solo Sikoa is the lone qualifier on the men’s side to this point. Qualifying matches will continue on Friday’s SmackDown, as well as next Monday’s Memorial Day Raw.
