– SmackDown Tag Team Champions The New Day (Big E & Kofi Kingston) defeated SAnitY (Eric Young & Killian Dain) to retain their titles
There was lots of comic relief by New Day and a lot of crowd interaction. New Day pinned Dain to retain.
– Harper defeated Tye Dillinger
Harper won with a discus lariat. Dillinger got a sympathetic cheer from the fans after the match.
– R-Truth defeated Shelton Benjamin
R-Truth was doing dances, Benjamin objected and told the referee to get Truth to stop doing them, and Charles Robinson went over to Truth and mimicked the dance moves — which he couldn’t do and the crowd laughed at.
Truth won with a small package. In an angle after the match, Benjamin harassed Robinson and was pushing him. Robinson then knocked Benjamin down with a hard shove.
– Rusev defeated Andrade “Cien” Almas
Rusev got a huge pop and the crowd was very much in his corner, but Almas got some cheers as well.
Rusev hit a superkick and went for the pin, but Aiden English ran down and stopped the count to give Almas momentum. English was sent to the back. Rusev took control and submitted Almas with the Accolade.
– SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch defeated Charlotte Flair to retain her title
Flair came out first to a big pop, then Lynch entered to a pop equally as big. There were lots of “Becky” chants and the crowd was definitely supporting her.
Flair rolled up Lynch, but Lynch reversed it to retain.
– Asuka, Naomi & Nikki Cross defeated Carmella, Peyton Royce & Billie Kay
The faces entered first and Asuka got the biggest pop. The IIconics did a promo insulting Tucson (and pronouncing it wrong) and introduced Carmella, who got a good pop.
Asuka surprisingly did a lot of comedy in the match. She submitted Royce to get the win.
– United States Champion Shinsuke Nakamura defeated Jeff Hardy and Randy Orton in a triple threat match to retain his title
Hardy got the best reaction of the three. The crowd was split during the match — mostly for Hardy and Orton. Orton was sporting a bandage on his thigh from his Hell in a Cell match against Hardy.
They had an excellent match. Orton hit Hardy with the RKO, then Nakamura hit Orton with the Kinshasa to win.
– WWE Champion AJ Styles defeated Samoa Joe to retain his title
Good back-and-forth action. Styles retained with the Phenomenal Forearm.
