– IC Champion Dolph Ziggler def The Miz to retain
Great way to start the show. There were a number of near falls. Maryse was ejected, and Ziggler pinned Miz soon after.
– Jack Swagger def. Tyler Breeze
Tyler started the match trying to get a selfie with Swagger. He attacked Swagger, who countered with the ankle lock. Breeze taps almost instantly. The whole thing took less than five minutes.
– Apollo Crews & The Hype Bros def. The Vaudevillains & Curt Hawkins
Mojo Rawley is a ball of fire from bell to bell. There was next to no reaction for the Vaudevillains’ entrance. Crowd got into the match, which involved Crews putting on a Halloween mask and scaring Aiden English. Everyone got their finishers in, and Crews ended up scoring the pinfall for the win.
– Baron Corbin def. Kalisto
Corbin caught Kalisto with a blow as he finished his entrance into the ring. Fans were very hyped for Kalisto overall. This was a slow match with Kalisto selling a lot, but he got a nice comeback before Corbin hit End of Days for the pinfall.
– Randy Orton def. Kane in a street fight
Big pop for Orton. Weapons (Kendo stick and chair) pulled out early. Wyatts come out mid-match and attacked Kane briefly before staring down Orton and mostly standing around. They interfered to fight Kane, which lead to Orton winning via RKO.
– Smackdown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch & Naomi def. Natalya, Carmella and Alexa Bliss
Loads of crowd noise for this post-intermission match. Naomi got a solid pop for moonwalking then hitting the dab. Everyone hit their finisher and Becky submitted Nattie with the Dis-Arm-Her.
– Smackdown Tag Team Champions Heath Slater and Rhyno def. The Usos & American Alpha in a three-way to retain
This felt like a decent TV match. AA weren’t in the match that much although when they were in, their moves looked great. Usos built decent heat through most of the match. Uso superkick got a large pop, but Rhyno hit the spear to retain the belts.
– WWE Champion AJ Styles def. Dean Ambrose to retain
Solid pop for Ambrose, moreso than Styles. Styles did get some heat with small dueling chants in the arena. The match started out at a slower pace with Styles jumping in and out of the ring (and Ambrose doing a comedy spot where he’d lay down asking AJ to pin him, only to get up in a fighting stance).
When it picked up in the middle, it was really solid. Finish was Dean running into an exposed turnbuckle, leading to AJ with the roll-up for the win. AJ then cut a quick heel promo after the match, and tried to hit Ambrose with the belt. Dean ducked, and hit Styles with the Dirty Deeds to send everyone home.
There was a very low turnout for the show.
