SmackDown’s first post-TLC house show took place in Stockton, California on Monday night.
– SmackDown Tag Team Champions Cesaro & Sheamus defeated The Usos and The New Day in a triple threat match to retain their titles
This was a good match that went about 10-12 minutes.
– Samoa Joe attacked Jeff Hardy as he was coming to the ring.
– Naomi & Lana defeated Peyton Royce & Billie Kay
They had a basic comedy/easy working match. Royce would botch a spot like a cartwheel escape and then run around the ring like she did something spectacular, which was kind of funny.
– R-Truth defeated Shelton Benjamin
Truth won in seconds after a roll-up. Andrade “Cien” Almas and Zelina Vega came out after, which led to a mixed tag match.
– Carmella & R-Truth defeated Zelina Vega & Andrade “Cien” Almas
They had a typical mixed match, with Carmella submitting Vega to get the win. Carmella and Truth then brought a young girl into the ring from the crowd and did a dance-off.
– Jeff Hardy defeated Samoa Joe
This was the match of the night up to this point. They started it by brawling all around the floor. There was good, solid action, and Hardy got the win with the Twist of Fate and a running big splash.
– Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson defeated The Colons
Anderson pinned Epico after the Magic Killer. This was a short match that went about 4-5 minutes.
– A live Miz TV segment with Asuka, Charlotte Flair, and Becky Lynch led to a triple threat match.
– SmackDown Women’s Champion Asuka defeated Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch in a triple threat match to retain her title
They had the best match of the night. All three worked hard, with all of them getting the same level of noise from the crowd. Asuka submitted Charlotte to retain. The match probably went 15 minutes or so.
– AJ Styles, Rey Mysterio & Rusev defeated WWE Champion Daniel Bryan, Randy Orton & United States Champion Shinsuke Nakamura
Styles hit Nakamura with the Styles Clash to get the win in a 20-minute match. This was really good. It was the second best match of the night, and it was debatable if it was the best one. Styles and Mysterio were mostly in the ring for the faces.
