WWE Starrcade off-air results: The Fiend vs. Braun Strowman
For the third straight year, WWE held a Starrcade-branded show on the weekend after Thanksgiving.
Last night’s event took place at the Infinite Energy Center in Duluth, Georgia, with one hour of the show airing as a live WWE Network special. Here are the full results from the night:
– Seth Rollins defeated Erick Rowan
– Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura (w/ Sami Zayn) defeated The Miz to retain his title
The Miz lost after being distracted by Zayn.
– The WWE Network special began following the Intercontinental title match:
- Ric Flair appeared on the Kevin Owens Show
- The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins & Montez Ford) w/ Ric Flair defeated The O.C. (Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson)
- Women’s Tag Team Champions Asuka & Kairi Sane defeated Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross, Sasha Banks & Bayley, and Becky Lynch & Charlotte Flair in a fatal four-way match to retain their titles
- Bobby Lashley (w/ Lana) defeated Rusev in a last mans standing match by forfeit due to the “restraining order” Lana filed against Rusev
- Bobby Lashley (w/ Lana) defeated Kevin Owens by DQ after being attacked by Rusev
– Aleister Black defeated Andrade (w/ Zelina Vega)
This was the first match after the Network broadcast. Andrade demanded another opponent following his loss.
– Ricochet defeated Andrade (w/ Zelina Vega)
Ricochet won quickly.
– Randy Orton defeated AJ Styles
– Roman Reigns defeated King Corbin
– Universal Champion “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt defeated Braun Strowman in a steel cage match to retain his title
The Fiend won by escaping through the door.
After the match, Gallows and Anderson insulted Strowman and Strowman stood tall to end the show.
