WWE St. Louis, MO, live results: MITB announced for June

Byron Saxton was the host and hyped up the Royal Rumble throughout the night. Of note, Money In The Bank is coming to the STL on June 18th.

– Raw Tag Team Champions Cesaro/Sheamus def. The Club & The New Day in a three way

Sheamus pinned Karl Anderson after a brogue kick as Cesaro held him up.

– Rusev (w/Lana) def. Big Cass (w/Enzo)

Cass pinned Rusev after Lana was thrown out. Rusev targeted Enzo on the apron and threw him in the ring.

– Sasha/Bayley/Liv Morgan def. Nia Jax/Dana Brooke/Raw Women’s Champion Charlotte (w/Emma as special ref)

Emma walked away after Sasha pushed her for not counting the pin, Dana later tapped to Sasha after a new ref came in.

– Sami Zayn did a backstage promo about his black eye from Braun Strowman. He said he’ll never back down from him. Chris Jericho then did a promo on St. Louis and refused to put them on the list.

– Seth Rollins def. Chris Jericho

Seth pinned Jericho after countering a top rope dive into a pedigree.

– Golden Truth/Sin Cara/Curtis Axel/Darren Young (w/Bpb Backlund) def. The Shining Stars/Jinder Mahal/Titus O’Neil/Bo Dallas

Truth pinned Dallas for the win. Dallas then threw a temper tantrum and cut a “No, that doesn’t count!” promo and issued an open challenge. Big Show then came out and KO’d him.

– Braun Strowman def. Sami Zayn

Strowman got the win after a decent back and forth match. Zayn got a little offense in, but it was mainly a squash.

– WWE US Champion Roman Reigns def. WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens to retain

Owens cut a heel promo saying he’ll take the US Title and make it the Canadian title. He then made Byron announce him before the match. Owens kept Reigns in a rest hold head lock for a long time, drawing “This is boring” chants. Reigns pinned Owens after countering a popup powerbomb into a superman punch, followed up by the spear. Reigns got the loudest pop of the night.
