WWE SmackDown video highlights: Cena returns on Independence Day

WWE was again in Phoenix, Arizona last night as the city hosted the Fourth of July episode of SmackDown.
As had been advertised, John Cena returned to WWE TV as a “free agent.” But he wasn’t the only returning wrestler on the show, with Rusev making his first in-person appearance in months by interrupting Cena and setting up a flag match with him at Battleground.
Elsewhere on the show, an Independence Day battle royal decided Kevin Owens’ next challenger, Naomi (quickly) defended her SmackDown Women’s Championship against Lana, and Wale hosted a rap-off between The Usos and The New Day.
