WWE Saskatoon live results: Dean Ambrose in action

– Raw Tag Team Champions Bobby Roode & Chad Gable defeated The Revival to retain their titles

Great opener with tons of false finishes. Roode & Gable retained.

– Nikki Cross defeated Tamina

Incredibly short match, ending with Cross rolling up Tamina for the win.

– Apollo Crews defeated Elias

Elias did a heel promo. The match was very deliberate and most of the action came from Crews. He won with a superkick and standing moonsault.

– Braun Strowman defeated Baron Corbin

Corbin fully embraced the cowardly heel style, though he impressively managed to give Strowman a Deep Six of sorts. Strowman won with a running powerslam.

– Heath Slater, Rhyno & Titus O’Neil defeated The Ascension & Rezar

Drake Maverick did a good job drawing heat for an otherwise lackluster match. Rhyno was still really over in Saskatoon and picked up the win with a Gore.

– Bayley & Natalya defeated The Riott Squad

Natalya was really over in her home country. She and Bayley won with a double and regular Sharpshooter on the entire Riott Squad.

– Intercontinental Champion Bobby Lashley defeated Dean Ambrose, Finn Balor, and Drew McIntyre in a fatal four-way match to retain his title

The crowd was somewhat split on Ambrose when he made his entrance, but I’d say they were more positive than not as the match went on despite WWE confirming that he’ll be leaving when his contract expires in April.

Lashley retained by stealing the pin after McIntyre hit the Claymore Kick on Ambrose. Balor then stood tall after the match.

Seth Rollins was advertised for the show but didn’t appear.
