WWE Reading, PA, live results: Styles & Bryan vs. Joe & Miz

– United States Champion Shinsuke Nakamura defeated Jeff Hardy, Rusev (w/ Aiden English), and Shelton Benjamin in a fatal four-way match to retain his title

Solid match. Nakamura hit the Kinshasa on Hardy to retain. Hardy looked banged up, but he still managed to do his signature stuff. Nakamura and Rusev used kendo sticks, with English also taking a table bump in the corner from Hardy.

– Andrade “Cien” Almas (w/ Zelina Vega) defeated Sin Cara

Almas won with the hammerlock DDT. Vega interrupted Dasha Fuentes and brought out Almas herself, as she’s been doing on these events.

Aside from certain risky spots, It was pretty much the same as their matches on SmackDown and Extreme Rules.

– Asuka, Becky Lynch & Nikki Cross defeated Mandy Rose, Sonya Deville & Lana

Lana tapped out to the Asuka Lock. The match was pretty much what you’d expect. There were a few miscues with Deville and Lynch.

– The New Day (Big E, Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods) defeated SAnitY (Eric Young, Alexander Wolfe & Killian Dain)

New Day won with the Midnight Hour. This was a fun, TV-like match. Wolfe and Dain showed more personality than normal on the apron while playing to the crowd.

– SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Bludgeon Brothers defeated The Usos and Cesaro & Sheamus in a triple threat match to retain their titles

Another fun TV-esque match. Harper and Rowan retained with a full nelson-assisted powerbomb on Jimmy Uso.

– SmackDown Women’s Champion Carmella defeated Naomi to retain her title

Carmella retained with a jackknife pin while using the ropes. This wasn’t a pretty match, but things smoothed out towards the end.

– WWE Champion AJ Styles & Daniel Bryan defeated Samoa Joe & The Miz

Styles pinned Miz after hitting the Phenomenal Forearm. They had a fun main event to send the crowd home happy.

Miz got on the mic to rile up the crowd and Bryan, with Bryan responding as well. Joe controlled most of the match against Styles while also making tags to Miz. They played up Bryan getting to go against Miz after a hot tag, then Styles finished things up.
