WWE Reading & Florence live results: AJ Styles vs. Sami Zayn

– Titus O’Neil & Apollo Crews defeated Cesaro & Sheamus and Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson in a triple threat match
– Goldust defeated Curt Hawkins
– The Revival defeated Heath Slater & Rhyno
They gave them a lot of time to have a strong match.
– Raw Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss defeated Mickie James and Bayley in a triple threat match to retain her title
Bayley hit her finisher on James, but Bliss rolled Bayley out of the ring and got the pin.
– Curt Hawkins came back out and said he was supposed to end his losing streak and wants another shot. Braun Strowman entered to a huge pop and crushed him.
Kane came out and the bell was rung, then they smashed each other with the ring steps and Strowman put Kane through a table.
– Asuka & Dana Brooke defeated Mandy Rose & Sonya Deville (w/ Paige)
Paige got on the mic to get some crowd heat. This was a good match.
– Finn Balor defeated Elias
They did some great back and forth. Balor was super over.
– Roman Reigns & Seth Rollins defeated The Miz, Curtis Axel & Bo Dallas
Axel got huge heat for coming out in a Minnesota Vikings jersey. Rollins hit the Curb Stomp and Reigns hit the Superman punch to win it.

– The New Day (Xavier Woods & Kofi Kingston with Big E) defeated Rusev & Aiden English
The crowd booed English but cheered for Rusev. The New Day pinned English for the win.
– Tye Dillinger defeated Mike Kanellis
Dillinger worked as a face and the “10” chants were over. Kanellis kept blowing kisses to the crowd to get heat, with them chanting “Where’s Maria?” at him. Dillinger hit the Tye Breaker to win.
– The Bludgeon Brothers defeated The Ascension and The Colons in a triple threat match
The Bludgeon Brothers destroyed both teams in about a minute, with Harper pinning Viktor following a clothesline. Harper and Rowan laid out Konnor and The Colons after.
– Shinsuke Nakamura defeated Baron Corbin
Nakamura did his usual spots and was super over, pinning Corbin after hitting the Kinshasa.
– United States Champion Bobby Roode defeated Jinder Mahal to retain his title
Mahal came out with one of the Singh Brothers. He got on the mic and said America needs a real ruler like himself. He also said he’s the greatest role model a child could ever look up to. He got more heat than anyone else on the show for that.
Roode retained after hitting the Glorious DDT.
– Charlotte Flair, Naomi & Becky Lynch defeated Natalya, Carmella, Lana & Tamina
Charlotte was really over and won it for her team by submitting Natalya with the Figure Eight.
– SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos defeated Chad Gable & Shelton Benjamin to retain their titles
The Usos got a massive pop and Gable & Benjamin were booed. Gable & Benjamin worked heel the entire match.
The Usos retained with a splash on Gable. This was a great match and the crowd was super into it.
– WWE Champion AJ Styles defeated Sami Zayn in a steel cage match to retain his title
Kevin Owens wasn’t with Zayn. Styles received the biggest pop of the night, and the crowd cheered every time he got offense in.
Styles retained by escaping the cage. Zayn tried to escape at the same time he did, but Styles kicked the door in his face. Styles got a massive pop when his feet hit the floor.
