WWE Providence, RI, live results: Roman Reigns appears

– Raw Tag Team Champions The Hardys defeated Enzo Amore & Big Cass, Cesaro & Sheamus and Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson to retain their titles

The three non-Hardys teams carried most of the match until Matt and Jeff took over at the end. Matt did some delete stuff in reaction to the crowd, but they stuck to the Hardy Boys’ moveset most of the match.

– Jinder Mahal defeated Curtis Axel

Nobody really cared.

– WWE Cruiserweight Champion Neville defeated Austin Aries by submission to retain his title

This was a solid match. It was probably the best of the night other than the main event. The only matches to go long were the opening tag, this one, and the main event.

– JoJo announced that Roman Reigns wasn’t cleared to compete. Braun Strowman came out and gloated on the mic until they played Reigns’ music. The crowd cheered Strowman wildly when he came out and gave Reigns a mix of boos and cheers, leaning more towards boos by a lot.

Reigns was all taped up on his left side but they brawled for a bit. Reigns hit his Superman Punch, then Strowman got a table and put it in a corner. They fought more and eventually Reigns put him through it to more boos.

– Raw Women’s Champion Bayley defeated Charlotte Flair, Nia Jax, and Sasha Banks to retain her title

This was a fast match, with Jax barely in it. Most of it was Bayley and Charlotte.

– Big Show defeated Titus O’Neil

This ended very quickly.

– Seth Rollins & Sami Zayn defeated Kevin Owens & Samoa Joe

From Owens’ promo beforehand to the pin, this went 30 minutes. Owens did a long promo insulting fans and putting himself over. JoJo then introduced Joe and then Zayn and Rollins came out separately to big pops.

They had a long and good match. Rollins still doesn’t seem 100 percent but got the pin. There was some mic work from Owens early on.
