WWE Pensacola live results: AJ Styles vs. Samoa Joe

– The New Day (Big E & Kofi Kingston), The Usos & R-Truth defeated Cesaro, Sheamus & SAnitY (Eric Young, Alexander Wolfe & Killian Dain) in a 10-man tag match

Sheamus was pinned after an Uso top rope splash. There was lots of comedy stuff early. Xavier Woods wasn’t on the show.

– Tye Dillinger defeated Aiden English

Dillinger pinned him with a reversal off a flying body press. English then cut a promo where he said he didn’t come here to lose “in the home of Scott Armstrong,” which led to a match with Sin Cara.

– Sin Cara defeated Aiden English

Sin Cara won within seconds.

– Becky Lynch & Charlotte Flair defeated Mandy Rose & Sonya Deville

This started as Lynch vs. Rose until Deville interfered and Charlotte made the save. Lynch submitted Deville with an armbar.

– Rusev (w/ Lana) defeated Andrade “Cien” Almas

Zelina Vega wasn’t with Almas. The match was quick, ending with Rusev submitting Almas with the Accolade.

– SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Bludgeon Brothers defeated Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson to retain their titles

Harper hit a discus lariat on Anderson to pick up the win.

– Daniel Bryan defeated Shelton Benjamin

They had easily the best match of the night. Bryan got an insane pop, even better than the hometown Usos did. He won with the running knee.

– SmackDown Women’s Champion Carmella defeated Naomi and Asuka in a triple threat match to retain her title

Carmella pinned Naomi following a kick to the head.

– United States Champion Shinsuke Nakamura defeated Jeff Hardy and Randy Orton in a triple threat match to retain his title

Nakamura got the pin on Hardy after Orton gave Hardy an RKO and Nakamura quickly gave the Kinshasa to Orton.

– WWE Champion AJ Styles defeated Samoa Joe to retain his title

Styles retained with the Phenomenal Forearm. This only went about 10 minutes.
