Greg Hamilton is the ring announcer for the night. Lots of kids because of the 5 PM local start time.
– IC Champion Dolph Ziggler def. The Miz (w/Maryse)
During the match, Miz instructs a photographer to get on the apron and take a photo of him kicking Dolph. Maryse slaps Dolph twice for some heat. Eventually, Maryse is ejected by the ref for trying to slap Dolph again. As she walked away, Dolph superkicks Miz for the win. “Let’s go Ziggler chants carried on almost all through the match.
– Smackdown Tag Team Champions Heath Slater/Rhyno def. Breezeango and The Usos in a three-way
Slater made the hot tag to Rhyno after Slater slingshot Breeze in between the Usos’ legs. Rhyno makes a quick comeback and eventually gores an Uso for the win.
– Jack Swagger def. Curt Hawkins
Hawkins cut a pre-match promo saying he was in Ireland which got no reaction at all. He told Swagger to basically forfeit. Swagger beat Hawkins almost instantly with the Patriot Lock.
– Nikki Bella & Naomi def Carmella & Natalya
Naomi makes the hot tag fairly quickly to Nikki who works on Carmella and hits her with the corner disaster kick. Carmella eventually gets control of Nikki again and puts her in the code of silence submission. Nikki gets out of it and hits the rack attack 2.0 on Carmella for the win in a quick basic match. Post match, Nattie carries Carmella to the back as Naomi & Nikki pose for the fans.
– Baron Corbin def. Kalisto
As soon as the bell rings, Kalisto reverses an Irish whip to the corner sending Corbin shoulder first into the post and to the outside. He hits a suicide dive on Corbin and a springboard DDT when Corbin gets back in the ring for a 2 count. The match was basically Kalisto being too fast for Corbin until he got caught in End of Days for the pin.
– American Alpha & Kane def. Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper & Randy Orton
Orton was clearly over as a face even though he was teaming with the Wyatts. After Gable was worked on most the match, he makes he hot tag to Kane to makes the comeback on Harper. Closing sequence saw Kane try a double chokeslam on Orton & Wyatt only for Harper to superkick him. This brought in AA who did a double dropkick on Harper followed by Orton giving Jordan an RKO to a big pop. Kane then pinned Harper with a chokeslam for a win.
– The Hype Bros def. The Ascension
Ryder makes the hot tag to Mojo which got barely any reaction. Mojo with shoulder blocks to the Ascension followed by the pounce to Viktor. Hype Bros quickly pick up the win but the crowd didn’t care for this match at all.
– Smackdown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch def. Alexa Bliss
Alexa missed the standing moonsault knees combo and Becky puts her in an armbar which Alexa gets out of. Some near falls follow including Alexa doing a sunset flip bomb pin for 2. After a couple more near falls Becky wins with the disarmer.
– WWE World Champion AJ Styles def. Dean Ambrose
AJ removes the turnbuckle cover which distracts the ref while Ambrose rolled AJ up. AJ hits the pele kick followed by Dean hitting the lunatic clothesline. AJ wins after pushing Ambrose into the exposed turnbuckle and rolling him up for 3. Really good match. AJ goes to leave, but comes back as Dean is getting up and tries to hit him with the belt. Dean
reverses it into the Dirty Deeds to send the crowd home happy.
Good show over all. Lively crowd, excellent main event.
