– Shinsuke Nakamura defeated Dolph Ziggler

This was a good back-and-forth opener. Nakamura won with the Kinshasa.

– Rusev defeated Sin Cara

Rusev hit a strike as Sin Cara went for a dive to pick up the win. He didn’t show as much personality here as he normally does.

– American Alpha defeated Epico & Aiden English

English got some solid heat with his singing gimmick, then American Alpha hit Grand Amplitude to win.

– WWE Champion Jinder Mahal defeated Sami Zayn to retain his title

This was the best match from Mahal that I’ve ever seen. He retained after interference from the Singh Brothers, with Zayn hitting a Helluva Kick on one of them after the match.

– SmackDown Women’s Champion Naomi, Charlotte Flair & Becky Lynch defeated Natalya, Carmella & Tamina

The fans called Carmella a chicken and she and Natalya yelled at children. Naomi got the second biggest reaction of the night behind AJ Styles and pinned Tamina after hitting the Rear View.

– SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos defeated The Hype Bros and The New Day (Big E & Xavier Woods) to retain their titles

One of the Usos snuck a pin on Zack Ryder to get the victory. Kofi Kingston wasn’t present for some reason. Big E and Mojo Rawley did a dance-off and The New Day messed with Charles Robinson all the way through.

– United States Champion AJ Styles defeated Baron Corbin and Kevin Owens to retain his title

Owens sold the title loss from before really well, but the match felt a little rushed. Styles hit the Phenomenal Forearm on Corbin for the win. Owens ran back into the ring afterwards and tried to hit the pop-up powerbomb on Styles, but Styles reversed it into a Styles Clash and posed at the top of the ramp to end the show.
