WWE Brooklyn, NY, live results: The Raw brand comes to the Barclays Center

– Raw Tag Team Champions Cesaro & Sheamus defeated The New Day and Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson to retain their titles

A double team Brogue kick spot on Anderson led to Sheamus getting the pin. Good action. Cesaro does not hold back and did the spin spot on Anderson, Gallows, and Big E.

– Lana came out and ran down the crowd as failures, even the little children.

– Big Cass (w/ Enzo Amore) defeated Rusev (w/ Lana)

Lana got sent away for slapping Cass and Enzo. A minute later, Rusev dragged Enzo into the ring. As he was distracted, Cass recovered. Cass hit the big boot to get the win.

– Sami Zayn did a backstage promo showing a black eye. He said he would never back down from a fight with Braun Strowman, especially tonight in Brooklyn.

– Golden Truth, Sin Cara, Curtis Axel & Darren Young (w/Bob Backlund) defeated The Shining Stars, Jinder Mahal, Titus O’Neil & Bo Dallas

R-Truth pinned Bo Dallas. Dallas threw a tantrum, which was followed by an open challenge to the back that Big Show answered. He squashed Bo.

– WWE Cruiserweight Champion Rich Swann defeated Neville to retain his title

This was a short match but it was good. Swann rolled up Neville for the victory but got beaten down afterwards.

– Chris Jericho came out to cut a promo. He ran down New York and Brooklyn especially. Rollins then came out. He told Jericho he couldn’t wrestle in a scarf and called him sparkle crotch. They worked hard but the chant didn’t catch on.

– Seth Rollins defeated Chris Jericho

Solid house show match. Jericho really knows how to control the crowd.

– Sasha Banks, Bayley & Liv Morgan defeated Raw Women’s Champion Charlotte, Nia Jax, and Dana Brooke

Banks locked in the Banks Statement on Brooke for the submission win. Since Morgan is from NJ, they did her entrance last. There wasn’t much reaction aside from a light NXT chant.

– Braun Strowman defeated Sami Zayn

It feels like this feud may be getting Braun over but hurting Zayn’s crowd reactions a bit based on the audience here.

– They announced that Raw returns to the Barclays Center on March 20th.

– United States Champion Roman Reigns defeated WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens to retain the US title

Only the US title was on the line. Owens did some mic work before the match started. This was what it always is. They did the long chinlock spot with the comeback by Reigns. There were some boos for his comeback.
