WWE Barrie, Ontario, live results: Dean Ambrose vs. Bray Wyatt street fight

Submitted by David Piggott
– American Alpha beat Tyler Breeze and Fandango
Crowd was behind American Alpha even though Breeze is Canadian. Breeze and Fandango got the heat on Gable, then Jordan got the hot tag, and they hit Grand Amplitude for the win.
– Luke Harper beat Mojo Rawley
Lukewarm reaction for Rawley with some cheers for Harper. Lots of comedy spots to try and get the crowd into it at the beginning. Harper won with the lariat.
– Smackdown Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss beat Carmella, Natalya, and Nikki Bella in a fatal four way to retain
Crowd was very behind Nikki. A decent pop for Natalya when she came out, but not what she normally gets in Canada. Bella and Bliss worked pretty well together mid match. Bliss got the pin on Carmella to finish a fun match.
– Apollo Crews beat I-C Champion The Miz (w/Maryse) in a non-title match
It was announced as a title match at first, but Miz cut a good heel promo saying he wasn’t going to defend the belt. Tons of heat for Miz, especially at the beginning with Miz doing a ton of stalling. They worked really well together, and had a good, long match. Crews got the crowd behind him during the match, and there was a good pop for the finish when Crews won after the referee caught Maryse trying to interfere and ejected her.
– Heath Slater and Rhyno beat The Ascension and the Vaudevillians in a three way tag match
Crowd was pretty behind Slater and Rhyno and didn’t really care about the other two teams. Rhyno or Slater were in at all times, which kept people interested. A brief altercation between Ascension and the Vaudevillians was met with zero response. Those two teams got the heat on Slater, and he got the hot tag to Rhyno, who hit the Gore for the win.
– Baron Corbin beat Kalisto
Pretty similar to every Corbin/Kalisto match. Kids in the crowd were behind Kalisto, which got Corbin some heat. Corbin got the pin with the end of days.
– Dean Ambrose beat Bray Wyatt in a Barrie Street Fight
Crowd was really hot for Ambrose, but there were also some cheers for Wyatt as well. Minimal amount of plunder for a street fight. It started with trading shots with the kendo stick. Ambrose brought three chairs into the ring, used those, and then set up a table in the ring. This brought Harper out, and Ambrose went through the table. James Ellsworth came out to help Ambrose, but was taken out quickly. Harper was sent out of the ring, followed by Ambrose sending Wyatt into a chair set up in the corner, and the Dirty Deeds for the win.
Overall a fun show, though a little disappointing that so many top Smackdown names were missing (Styles, Orton, Ziggler, Lynch were all not there, though Styles is understandable).
