– Oney Lorcan defeated Chad Lail by DQ

The Forgotten Sons (Wesley Blake & Steve Cutler) caused the disqualification when they interfered on Lail’s behalf. The Street Profits made the save, leading to a six-man tag match.

– Oney Lorcan & The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins & Montez Ford) defeated Chad Lail & The Forgotten Sons (Wesley Blake & Steve Cutler)

This was a basic match most of the way, but Lorcan ran wild when he got the hot tag and looked great.

– Tommaso Ciampa did a backstage promo bragging that Johnny Gargano wasn’t at the show. Kayla Braxton reiterated that Gargano wasn’t there, which pretty much gave away that he was going to show up.

– Nikki Cross & Candice LeRae defeated Bianca Belair & Lacey Evans

Cross got a great reaction. There were some mistimed spots with Belair in the beginning, but the match settled down. LeRae took the beating, then Cross got the hot tag and pinned Evans.

There were some fun interactions with Cross and LeRae as the odd couple, including LeRae trying to calm Cross down and Cross getting LeRae to imitate her crazy mannerisms.

– Ricochet defeated Velveteen Dream

Dream got big cheers for being from the D.C. area, though the crowd cheered both men. This was by far the match of the night and had the most heat. Ricochet did a lot of high flying moves and teased a People’s Elbow but hit a standing moonsault instead.

There were lots of near falls and the crowd chanted “This is awesome.” Ricochet won with the Shooting Star Press. After that, Ricochet offered to shake hands but Dream refused and actually got cheered heavily for it.

– Tommaso Ciampa defeated Kassius Ohno

Well worked and they kept the crowd’s attention despite following the previous match. Ohno bled hard way near the end and there was a brief pause where the referee wiped off the blood.

Ciampa kept attacking Ohno after the match, with Gargano running out of the crowd with a neck brace on. LeRae, The Street Profits and Lorcan ran in to break it up and they all celebrated afterwards.

– EC3 defeated No Way Jose

There was some comedy early, but this was nothing special.

– NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler defeated Kairi Sane to retain her title

Baszler and Ciampa were the only heels to get serious boos from the crowd. Sane got very little offense in and was selling most of the way. She had a brief comeback and went for the Insane Elbow, but Baszler got her leg and foot up.

Baszler then went for the pin but held her up before the three count and choked her out instead. Solid match but it was more Sane putting over Baszler strong than an exciting back-and-forth bout.

– NXT Champion Aleister Black defeated Andrade “Cien” Almas to retain his title

Zelina Vega wasn’t at ringside with Almas. There were actually a few mistimed sequences — it was a good match overall but not as good as it was at TakeOver. Black retained with the Black Mass.
