NXT Venice, FL, live results: Chelsea Green returns to the ring

After undergoing surgery for a broken wrist in March, Chelsea Green returned to the ring at NXT’s house show in Venice, Florida last night.

Green teamed with Deonna Purrazzo and lost to Lacey Lane & Kacy Catanzaro at Saturday’s event. It was the first time Green has wrestled since suffering the broken wrist during a dark match where she defeated Jessie Elaban at a set of NXT television tapings on March 13.

It was confirmed in October 2018 that Green, who was a former Knockouts Champion as Laurel Van Ness in Impact Wrestling, had signed with WWE. She has yet to make her NXT TV debut.

Isiah “Swerve” Scott & Dio Maddin eliminated Rocky & Boa, Dorian Mak & Riddick Moss eliminated Scott & Maddin, and Lorcan & Burch won by eliminating Mak & Moss.

– NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler defeated Rachael Evers
