Submitted by James Peklicza

NXT was in Pittsburgh on Friday night as this week’s road house show tour continued.

– Johnny Gargano defeated Kassius Ohno

Gargano submitted him with the Gargano Escape.

– Bianca Belair & Candice LeRae defeated Rhea Ripley & Reina Gonzalez

Belair pinned Gonzalez after hitting the KOD.

– Roderick Strong defeated Keith Lee

Strong got the pin after hitting the Sick Kick. Strong dedicated the match to Kyle O’Reilly on O’Reilly’s birthday, which would become a theme throughout the night.

– Dominik Dijakovic defeated Punishment Martinez

Dijakovic won with Feast Your Eyes.

– Aleister Black & Ricochet defeated The Undisputed Era (Bobby Fish & Kyle O’Reilly) by DQ

The disqualification came when referee Drake Wuertz was pulled out of the ring during a pinfall attempt. Before the match, Fish attempted to sing happy birthday to O’Reilly but was interrupted by Ricochet’s theme.

– NXT Tag Team Champions War Raiders defeated The Forgotten Sons (Jaxson Ryker & Steve Cutler) to retain their titles

– NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler defeated Mia Yim to retain her title

Baszler submitted Yim with the Kirifuda Clutch to retain.

– NXT North American Champion Velveteen Dream defeated Adam Cole to retain his title

Before the match started, Cole said he was dedicating his victory to “birthday boy” O’Reilly.

The other three members of Undisputed Era ran in from the crowd for a four-on-one attack on Velveteen Dream after the match. The lights went out — and Keith Lee, Aleister Black, and Ricochet were on the stage to make the save when they came back on.

After the four isolated O’Reilly in the ring, Dream took the mic and sang happy birthday to him, complete with a Black Mass and Purple Rainmaker in the middle of the song.

Black then took the mic and he and Ricochet gave speeches. They did the “We are NXT” speech to send the crowd home happy.
