– Gran Metalik defeated Noam Dar
This was branded with the 205 Live logo and colors on the screen. Metalik went over Dar with the Metalik Driver. Overall, this was a fun cruiserweight match and the babyface finisher got a good pop.
– SAnitY (Eric Young, Alexander Wolfe & Big Damo) w/ Nikki Cross defeated Oney Lorcan & Heavy Machinery (Otis Dozovic & Tucker Knight)
SAnitY got an entrance pop. Heavy Machinery used good teamwork moves that allowed them to throw their weight around. Both sides ignored the ref’s warning and ran in causing chaos. Young hit Lorcan with his finisher for the pinfall.
– Ember Moon defeated Mandy Rose
Moon hit Rose with the flipping stunner off the top rope for the win.
– NXT Tag Team Champions DIY defeated The Authors of Pain to retain their titles
DIY won with their double team finisher. They were extremely over with the midwest crowd.
– Elias Samson defeated Patrick Clark
The Drifter got the most heat of anyone on the card. He sang a song about how bad Indianapolis is.
– NXT Women’s Champion Asuka defeated Billie Kay w/ Peyton Royce and Nikki Cross to retain her title
This match had the most storytelling elements in it. From an acting perspective, everyone did really well, though the in-ring execution was poor at times.
– NXT Champion Shinsuke Nakamura & Roderick Strong defeated Samoa Joe & Bobby Roode
This was the best match of the night. I felt bad for Strong as his entrance fell short compared to the other three. Everyone was cheered heavily on entrances. Roode and Nakamura spent the most time sizing each other up and Samoa Joe was working really well in the ring. Nakamura hit Joe with the Kinshasa to get the win.
