NXT Bel Air, MD, live results: Adam Cole wrestles twice

Editor’s note: The following references results from last Wednesday’s NXT television tapings.
Submitted by reader Liam Renner
– The Street Profits defeated Tino Sabbatelli & Riddick Moss
This was a basic opener with a lot of comedy. The Street Profits won with a spinebuster and a frog splash.
– Sonya Deville defeated Ruby Riott
They wrestled a safe match and Deville won by submission with an ankle lock.
– NXT Tag Team Champions Bobby Fish & Kyle O’Reilly defeated SAnitY (Eric Young & Killian Dain) to retain their titles
The title change is being acknowledged at house shows even though it hasn’t aired on television yet. This was a really good match and the best one on the show. They brawled in the crowd, using a plastic sign and trash cans before the bell rang.
After a lot of near falls, Young got rolled up for the pin.
– Adam Cole defeated Chad Lail
Cole got the biggest reaction of anyone here. The match was basic, with Cole hitting a Shining Wizard to defeat Lail (who was formerly Gunner in TNA). Aleister Black had faced Lail the previous two nights but wasn’t on this show.
Cole got on the mic after to say there’s no one in NXT on his level, leading to Lars Sullivan coming out to disagree with him.
– Lars Sullivan defeated Adam Cole by DQ
Cole sold a bunch, but he did get some offense in. Sullivan went out and grabbed a table, then Fish and O’Reilly ran in and attacked him for the disqualification. SAnitY came back out and beat up Fish and O’Reilly. They threw Cole back into the ring and Sullivan laid him out.
– NXT Women’s Champion Ember Moon defeated Bianca Belair to retain her title
This was a fun match. Belair played heel and the crowd loved Moon. Moon retained after hitting The Eclipse, which got a big pop.
– NXT Champion Andrade “Cien” Almas (w/ Zelina Vega) defeated Roderick Strong to retain his title
The match started slow but got really good at the end. The finish came when Almas tried to use the belt as a weapon, which distracted the referee and allowed Vega to hit a hurricanrana on Strong. Almas then retained with the hammerlock DDT.
