Report: WWE looking to partner with promotions in Mexico & Puerto Rico

WWE is reportedly looking for more international promotions to partner with.
LuchaLibreOnline reported on Monday that WWE is looking for companies in Mexico and Puerto Rico to develop relationships with similar to what they have with Marigold, Pro Wrestling NOAH, and TNA Wrestling.
“EXCLUSIVE: WWE has established alliances in Japan, the United Kingdom and the United States with top professional wrestling companies. Lucha Libre Online can confirm that WWE is looking to establish alliances or agreements with companies in both Puerto Rico and Mexico. The company has knocked on the door in both countries very recently with the intention of creating a partnership, similar to what they did with companies like TNA, Pro Wrestling Noah and MariGold. If it comes to fruition, it would be HUGE for the company from Puerto Rico and Mexico that WWE selects,” a translation of LuchaLibreOnline’s post reads.
WWE has announced cross-promotions with TNA Wrestling, Marigold and Pro Wrestling NOAH of late. Tatum Paxley answered Jordynne Grace’s open challenge at TNA Against All Odds on Friday. NOAH recently announced that AJ Styles will wrestle Naomichi Marfuji on it’s July 13 show. IYO Sky is also scheduled to wrestle Utami Hayashishita at Marigold Summer Destiny at the Ryogoku Kokugikan.
