Report: Ronda Rousey injured, not expected to miss WWE WrestleMania 39

Ronda Rousey is reportedly injured, but isn’t expected to miss WrestleMania.

PWTorch reported that Rousey has aggravated a prior injury. The report further stated that despite the injury, it wouldn’t prevent her from competing at WrestleMania next month in Los Angeles.

Rousey was originally set to team with Shayna Baszler on Friday to take on Tegan Nox and Natalya. Instead, an angle was shot on the show where earlier in the day the two teams ended up fighting backstage. Announcers later explained that Rousey suffered an injury during the brawl and as a result, the match was changed to a singles bout between Baszler and Nox. Baszler won the match via arm bar. Rousey appeared with Baszler during the match wearing a sling on her arm.

In recent weeks, Baszler and Rousey have been teaming together. It has been reported that the team may be figured into plans for a WWE Women’s Tag Team title match for WrestleMania.
