Elton Prince injured on WWE SmackDown

Elton Prince was injured on Friday night.

Prince was favoring his shoulder during Pretty Deadly’s match against Sheamus & Ridge Holland on SmackDown. He was later seen with his arm in a sling during SmackDown LowDown.

As first reported by PWInsider, Prince suffered a separated shoulder. Our own Dave Meltzer confirmed the injury involves Prince’s AC joint and Bryan Alvarez notes the 26-year-old has been on WWE’s injured list as of Saturday morning.

Ridge Holland posted to Twitter that the injury occurred when Prince landed awkwardly after a pounce.

So to set people straight before they get all pissy! It wasn’t the belly to belly…..it was a wonky landing from the pounce.

Prince finished the match and even got the pin on Holland after a top rope leg drop. Pretty Deadly are now 5-1 on the main roster, with their only loss coming on the 6/20 SmackDown from the O2 Arena in London when they dropped a tag title match to Sami Zayn & Kevin Owens. Four of their five wins have come against The Brawling Brutes and they also defeated The Street Profits on the 6/23 SmackDown.
