Referee instructions segment, two matches set for SummerSlam go-home WWE Raw
Special guest referee Seth Rollins giving instructions to CM Punk & Drew McIntyre, plus two matches are set for the SummerSlam go-home WWE Raw.
After announcing that Punk was medically cleared on this week’s episode, Raw GM Adam Pearce made Punk vs. McIntyre with Seth Rollins as referee official for SummerSlam. On next week’s Raw, Rollins will give his referee instructions to Punk & McIntyre on the final Raw show before the August 3 pay-per-view.
Two matches are also set for the Monday, July 29 WWE Raw.
King of the Ring and number one contender to the World Heavyweight Championship Gunther will be in action on next week’s show against The Judgment Day’s Finn Balor. Gunther will challenge Balor’s Judgment Day compadre Damian Priest for the World Heavyweight title at SummerSlam.
A six-woman tag team match has also been announced for next week’s Raw, with Sonya Deville, Shayna Baszler & Zoey Stark facing Lyra Valkyria, Katana Chance & Kayden Carter. Deville defeated Valkyria on this week’s Raw, but Valkyria, Chance & Carter cost Stark a match with Zelina Vega later in the show.
