Rachael Evers okay following hit-and-run car accident

Rachael Evers is okay following a hit and run car accident that took place this afternoon.
Evers wrote about the situation on Twitter, saying that the accident was due to a drunk driver.
“Let me start by saying this: I am ok,” she wrote. “I was hit by a drunk driver today on my way home from the [WWE Performance Center]. Hit and run. I’m extremely thankful it was my passengers side that was hit. Some people aren’t so lucky-please DONT DRINK AND DRIVE.”
She then posted pictures of the driver and his license plate, saying she caught up to him by running up to him.
Evers, real name Rachael Ellering, is the daughter of former wrestler and manager Paul Ellering. She started wrestling in 2015 and the following year became a regular on NXT television as enhancement talent. She has also competed in both Mae Young Classic tournaments in 2017 and 2018. She was officially signed to a developmental deal this past January and has since been working NXT house shows.
