Pete Dunne wants a match with R-Truth next week.

In a digital exclusive WWE posted on Tuesday, Dunne confronts R-Truth and blames him for people still calling him Butch. He then challenges Truth to a match on the December 2 episode of WWE Raw.

“Listen, because of you, I’ve had the week from hell. Everywhere I go, I hear the name Butch,” Dunne says in the video. “We need to settle this properly. Pete Dunne, R-Truth in that ring.”

Before leaving, Dunne told Truth he would talk to Adam Pearce about making the match official.

The backstage scene began with Truth telling Katana Chance, Kayden Carter, and Lyra Valkyria that he is excited to enter the upcoming tournament to crown a first-ever Women’s Intercontinental Champion.

“I’m excited about this tournament. I got number 24 last time,” Truth said, confusing the tournament with a Royal Rumble match. Chance, Carter, and Valkyria attempted to explain to him why he could not enter the tournament, but Truth didn’t seem to understand.

WWE Raw is scheduled for The Angel of the Winds Arena in Everett, Washington, next week. The show will also feature a 10th anniversary celebration for New Day.
