Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque named WWE EVP of Talent Relations

Paul “Triple H” Levesque has a new executive job title with WWE.

WWE issued a press release on Friday announcing that Levesque “will resume his executive position” with the company effective immediately. The announcement came with the revelation that Levesque, who was previously WWE’s executive vice president of global talent strategy and development, is now the company’s executive vice president of talent relations.

Before becoming EVP of global talent strategy and development, Levesque was WWE’s EVP of talent, live events, and creative.

The press release included a quote from Levesque saying that he’s “healthy, fired up, and ready to take charge.”

Bruce Prichard had been named WWE’s interim head of talent relations last month after John Laurinaitis was placed on administrative leave amid the WWE Board of Directors’ investigation into alleged misconduct committed by Laurinaitis and Vince McMahon.

Levesque suffered a life-threatening health scare in 2021 after going into heart failure. He announced his retirement from in-ring competition this March.

While announcing his retirement as an in-ring competitor, Levesque said he was back working in the WWE office but, in some manner, would have to take a bit of a step back from his normal workload while still recovering.

Levesque spoke at the WWE Performance Center last month and announced that he was “back,” though it wasn’t made clear at the time what that meant. Levesque said he was there for business reasons and couldn’t say why yet.

Levesque’s wife Stephanie McMahon is currently serving as WWE’s interim CEO and chairwoman during the Board of Directors’ investigation into her father. Vince McMahon is still in charge of WWE creative despite temporarily stepping away from his CEO and chairman roles.
